The Tree Plantation Project was carried out by the RCC Nandavanam Club at Shrine Velankanni Matriculation School, Arakkonam, with the aim of promoting environmental awareness and encouraging students to protect nature. The project focused on highlighting the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance, improving air quality, and supporting life on Earth. As part of the programme, various saplings were planted in and around the school campus. Students actively participated in planting and nurturing the saplings, learning the value of responsibility and teamwork. The RCC Nandavanam Club members guided the students and explained the long-term benefits of tree plantation and sustainable living. Teachers and school authorities supported the initiative, making it a successful and meaningful activity. The project helped in creating a greener environment and instilled a sense of environmental responsibility among students.
